Editorial Policy

StockFlash Daily explains US stock market news and investing concepts in plain English. This page describes how we choose topics, research and write articles, check facts, use AI tools, and correct mistakes.

Independence

Companies cannot pay to be covered, and advertisers have no influence over what we publish. We do not accept payment for stock mentions, we do not publish sponsored stock picks, and we do not take compensation from any company we write about. Advertising on the site is served by third-party networks and is clearly labeled.

Sourcing

We work from primary sources wherever possible:

  • Company filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and company earnings releases and calls.
  • Official economic data from the Federal Reserve, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and the US Treasury.
  • Exchange and index-provider data and methodology documents.

When we cite a figure, we link to or name its source. Market data shown in widgets is provided by TradingView and may be delayed.

Fact-checking and review

Every article is reviewed by the StockFlash Daily editorial team before it is published. Review covers:

  • Numbers, dates, and definitions checked against the primary source.
  • Claims about how markets, indicators, or policies work checked against official documentation.
  • Language checked so that nothing reads as a personal recommendation to buy or sell a security.

Evergreen explainers are re-reviewed periodically, and the “Last reviewed” date on each article shows when that last happened.

Use of AI tools

We use AI writing tools to help with research outlines and first drafts. AI output is never published without human review: an editor checks every fact against sources, rewrites for accuracy and clarity, and takes responsibility for the final article.

Not financial advice

Our content is general information for educational purposes. It does not consider anyone’s personal financial situation and is not investment, tax, or legal advice. StockFlash Daily is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. See our Disclaimer.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and add a dated correction note at the end of the article describing what changed. Minor edits for spelling or style are not noted. To report an error, use our Contact page and include the article link.
